Okay I've always wondered, what is with the white sheeting? There are a couple 350z's in a dealership near my house that has that on them as well and they've sat there since I lived there as well.

It's paint protection for when they transport it, and if they are left outside it keeps the paint from fading or getting scratched.

Ze Germans have it down to an exact science of the most vulnerable parts I guess. The roof hood and trunk are wrapped probably to protect it from UV and anything dripping when on the trailers.
